PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate, Tbk (BeFa) has issued the MK3L Policy (Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment) as well as the Strategic Social Responsibility (SR) Policy related to the company’s responsibility in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). To fulfill occupational safety requirements, which are part of the compliance clauses in ISO 45001:2018, the HSE–Estate Management Division, in collaboration with PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia, organized a “Safety Riding” Training for employees who use two-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles).

The number of traffic accidents continues to increase every year, indicating that many riders still neglect the importance of applying safety riding for their own safety as well as the safety of other road users. Safety riding is closely related to rider behavior, which must ensure a high level of safety both for themselves and for others.

The implementation of safety riding is regulated under Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, specifically in Article 203 paragraph 2 letter a. In other words, the implementation of safety riding is actually a national program that must be fully supported by all business actors.

The training activities were divided into two parts: theoretical sessions covering all types of two-wheeled vehicles (automatic and manual/clutch), and practical sessions for manual/clutch motorcycles. The materials were delivered and tailored based on the company’s needs to encourage employees to understand and practice safe and comfortable motorcycle riding.
